SPRAGUE OGILVIE
Registered dietitian focused on sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes.
Take the 30-Plant Challenge!
Studies show eating 30+ different plant foods a week supports gut health. Use this fun checklist to track your plant variety—fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices all count!
“Dietary advice can be confusing.”
There are so many different diets out there, all promising quick fixes and impressive results.
And everyone has their own opinion on food!
I know that you have unique goals and challenges.
My goal is to help you achieve a balanced and sustainable approach to health, whatever that looks like for you.
My advice goes deeper than "drink more water and eat fruit and veg"
(although that is a good starting point for many people!)
I give you the tools and knowledge to make changes to your life and diet—forever. Some of the factors I may look at include:
- Stress management
- Exercise
- Sleep patterns
- Improving your relationship with food
- Addressing diseases or conditions
… all while still enjoying food (and wine, of course!)
Absolutely no crash diets, boring food or crazy exercise regimes.
Hi! I’m Sprague
I’m a registered dietitian, wife, mom of two miracle boys, and a wine lover!
I’ve always loved people, science and food. They’re the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing at night; so a career in dietetics was a natural fit for me.
My food-losophy
I believe nutrition holds the key to optimising your wellbeing.
That’s why I’m here to help you improve your diet in a balanced, sustainable way that allows your body to function optimally while still enjoying the occasional indulgence.
My approach
My approach to nutrition is rooted in the belief that every individual is wonderfully unique.
You deserve more than a generic plan; you deserve a personalised wellness journey that meets you where you are and takes you where you want to be. My holistic, evidence-based nutritional therapy is designed to honour your individuality every step of the way.
Education is key to sustainable change, so I'll spend a good deal of time providing you with practical, easy-to-understand knowledge. Alongside this, I offer accountability and support to keep you motivated and committed to your health goals.
Services
Adult Nutrition
I believe in a personalised approach to diet and take time to understand your unique needs, preferences and goals—whether you’re focusing on healthy eating, weight management (loss and gain), diabetes, constipation, IBS, gut discomfort, heartburn, bloating, or chronic conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol.
Reproductive Health
Having faced fertility issues myself, I know the road you are walking; the struggles and disappointment. I’m here to support you, helping you optimise your diet and cheering you on to achieve your goal of conceiving happy and healthy little babies!
Diet can play a role in many fertility issues, so let me help you with preconception diets, PCOS, endometriosis, and weight management.
Toddler and Child Nutrition
My experiences as a mother have shown me the importance of fostering healthy eating habits from a young age. My children have been my biggest teachers as I’ve battled through fussy eating and allergies with them.
I would love to support more families feeling lost with issues like weight management, constipation, picky eating, allergies, and appropriate nutrition for school-aged children.
Corporate Presentations and Wellness
I offer nutrition-based presentations, individual consultations, and Discovery Wellness days tailored to your corporate needs.
How individual consultations work
In our one-on-one sessions, I use a detailed approach to evaluate your diet and health. Examining your medical history and current dietary habits, I create a personalised lifestyle plan that addresses the specific issues affecting your well-being.
